Felix rufus Bobcat Rotluchs Found only in North America, the Bobcat gets its common name from its stubby ore "bobbed" tail, which is only 6 or 7 inches long. The end of the tail is always black and tipped with white, which distinguishes the Bobcat from its northern cousin, the Canadian Linx, whose tail is tipped solid black. Malheur County, Oregon, USA |
